Our department provides counselling to students about placement opportunities and maintaining contact with all industrial organizations for further placement purposes. Some of the focused activities of the department are
Impart communication skill development programme including international language (French) to students right from the first semester.
Arranging hospital lab practical programme on the various activities performed in the hospital.
Conducting industrial visit and internship in different multispecialty and superspecialist hospitals.
Arranging Orientation programmes for all the students and counselling them about the necessity of attending training session before campus selection.
Industry specific training on the format of the writing the resumes, body language and facing the interviews.
Conducting Mock/Simulated exercises on continuous basis for Pre-final and Final Year students in Aptitude, Group Discussion, Technical and General Interview skills etc.
Conducting group presentation for the students to increase their confidence gradually.
Organizing Industry-Institution interaction programmes, seminar to bridge the gap between industry exceptions and academic learning.
Students of the healthcare management programme find jobs to manage a variety of specialised services in hospitals, both in the private and in government sectors. Their job description includes managing various departments of large hospitals as well as planning and designing new services and new hospitals. In the past, students have found employment in leading corporate- and trust-run hospitals all over the country.
